EVENT REVIEW – TASTE TOUR OF LAKEMBA FOR THE WESTIES

We were just as much a curiosity for the locals as their food was for us. The locals were friendly and quick to share a story about their food and tell you about the dishes and their favourite restaurants nearby. There was such an openness and interest and joy this evening that was unexpected and I have never seen in Sydney.

We were invited as part of The Westies to attend the Taste Food Tour of Lakemba as part of Ramedan in 2016.

Delivery of copy was via website and social media.

The Westies is a website dedicated to telling the stories of Western Sydney and highlighting the differences and similarities that unite us all. With a focus on personal stories, makers and events, The Westies is dedicated to showcasing Western Sydney in a different light.
