While we have been working with St Patricks College for Girls in Campbelltown for years now, this was a particularly interesting challenge – how to evolve their branding, push the brand forward within the current confines and really modernise how St Pat’s appears in market.
We started with a pretty high-stakes piece of collateral – their Prospectus, right before Open Day and new student acquisition season. Bold move.
We chose big bright bold colours from their brand to stand out from the other independant schools in their local market. We chose modern type treatments to create a bold fresh look, a departure from the preconceived ideas of a sandstone college. We massaged messaging and framed the story in such a way as to really sell specialist girls education, allowing their unique selling point to shine. We illustrated a number of key concepts to demonstrate the way that the school approaches education and learning for girls.
This is a great example of evolving a brand within your existing logo design and guideline, and shows how even well recognised and existing brands can bring a fresh look to the table. We can’t wait to see how this evolution continues to roll out in new materials for St Pats.
